On of my friend asks me how to face the situation of more and more non-domestic biz trips?

Two options provided for him:

1) in the year-end review, ask his manager if he can get a better payment. if yes then it makes no sense to send him to oversea services coz he's been not "cheaper" any longer and sending him oversea can't help save cost.

but company would ask "what is the usage of you?" in the past, you were used for cost save, but how about now.

2) keep working hard and don't ask for higher pay to keep the cutting edge of low cost
